This image of a sunset at Shelter Island, New York is composed of 10 individual shots taken at 135mm. These shots were taken from the backyard of a friend who has a house on the northwestern side of Shelter Island. I have been there twice, and I must admit a principal reason I went back the second time, was to shoot this tree at sunset. Living on the East Coast, it is unusual to see the sun setting over water, and I thought about getting this tree silhouetted against the water and sky for the entire year between my visits.
