This image of a chair on the lawn at Tanglewood is composed of 7 individual shots taken at 200mm. It was early afternoon, and I had just listened to an open rehearsal of the BSO that included Beethoven's Fourth Symphony. (The weekday open rehearsals are a wonderful chance to hear music and they are often free.) I was looking around the grounds when I noticed this scene that seemed so typical of Tanglewood: the chair, the monogramed canvas bag, the cloth napkin and the crumpled aluminum foil–relaxed and yet genteel.
