This image of a costal sunrise is composed of 7 individual shots taken at 140mm. I took them a half an hour before sunrise. I have loved this house, which is built largely of stone and looks like it grew up from the rocks on which it sits, since I moved to Maine. It is also on one of my morning bike routes, so over the few past years I have gotten to see it under many different kinds of light, and I've decided that it is most striking silhouetted at dawn.
